Our Truck

Wonthaggi Car Rentals has a Truck, suitable for moving house and a range of other jobs, in our fleet. The truck, a Mercedes diesel, had needed some repairs involving componentry from Europe. These repairs have been completed and the Truck is available for hire again. At approximately $125 per day (conditions apply) it is an affordable way to complete your own move. MotoGP

There were lots of visitor to the Bass Coast region for the MotoGP and all our cars and buses were rented!! The bikers are on the way home now and we've had some of our vehicles returned. So, we've got them ready for you to use, although there are a few bookings over the next few weeks. Give us a call on 5672 1722 as soon as you can to make sure that you get your number 1 choice.

Insurance

I've been asked about how insurance works with regard to the rentals. Well, the normal situation is that renters take out insurance with us at a very reasonable rate as part of the daily hire ... and it protects them.

Recently, we had a renter involved in an accident that resulted in the vehicle being written off!! The good news was that everyone was OK ... and the renter was covered for the costs of the accident, which were worth many thousands of dollars. All that happened was that we kept the $500 holding deposit, which is usually returned to renters when the car comes back to us in good condition.
